Kyle & Lochalsh Community Trust was established in August 2012 to take forward the work of its predecessor, the Kyle Development Group. We are owned and managed by the local community and organised on democratic principles. We are independent but seek to work in partnership with other public, private and voluntary organisations.

As a Community Trust we aim to achieve the sustainable regeneration of our community which, despite its magnificent geographic setting, has been identified as one of the most economically fragile in the Highlands.
Local Enterprise & Development
Through enterprise initiatives and responsible asset ownership, we generate sustainable income that supports long-term community growth. Every surplus is reinvested locally, helping to fund projects, maintain facilities, and strengthen opportunities for the people of Kyle & Lochalsh.
